Obituary of Lily Cook
Peacefully surrounded by the love of her family, at the Grey Bruce Health Services in Markdale, on Tuesday evening, October 30th, 2018. Lily Verdella May Cook (nee Long), of Williamsford, at the age of 77 years. Dearly loved wife of the late Leslie Cook (1994). Loving mother of David Cook (Alice), of Holland Centre, Glen Cook (Jo-Anne), of Williamsford and Lee Cook (Maryann), of R.R. #1, Chatsworth. Proud grandmother of Bradley (Sheena), Brianna, Nathan and Amanda (Matt). Dear sister of Ross Long, of Kitchener and Ruth Anne Ceaser (Bob), of Chatsworth. Predeceased by her parents, William and Luella Long; her brothers, Lawrence and Russell Long; her sister-in-law, Joyce Long.
Friends may call at the BRIAN E. WOOD FUNERAL HOME, 250 – 14th Street West, Owen Sound, Ontario N4K 3X8 (519-376-7492) on Friday from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. A Funeral Service for Lily Cook will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, November 3rd, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Deborah McKellar officiating. Interment in Mount Zion Cemetery, Holland Centre. If so desired, the family would appreciate donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation as an expression of sympathy.
