Obituary of Doris Telford (nee Carty)
Peacefully surrounded by love, Doris Evelyn Telford (nee Carty) of Campbell’s Bay, Quebec passed away on Thursday, November 1, 2018 in the Shawville Hospital at the age of 90 years.
Beloved Mother of Brian (Lynn) Telford of Hallville, ON., Orville (Georgina) Telford of Shawville, QC, Connie (Perry) Belanger, and Lynn Telford both of Ottawa, ON. Cherished Grandma of Kimberly (Greg) of Arnprior, ON, Trina (Ryan) of Russell, ON, Ian (Sarah) of Sand Bay, QC, Christina and Shawn of Ottawa, ON. Beloved Great-Grandmother of Brianna, Nolan, and Leah. Loving sister-in-law of Hilda (Elwin) Brown, Campbell’s Bay, QC. Predeceased by her parents Angus & Mabel Carty (nee Ramsay) and siblings Thomas, Eldon (Charlotte) Carty, Elaine (Foster) Smith (and her late husband Lawrence Russet), and Merlin Carty. Aunt Doris will also be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at Hayes Funeral Home, 134 Centre St., Shawville, Quebec on Tuesday, November 6, 2018 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Funeral Service will follow in the chapel. Interment St. Andrew’s United Cemetery, Campbell’s Bay, Quebec.
