Passed away at Northumberland Hills Hospital, Cobourg on Tuesday October 23, 2018. Lynn Comar beloved wife of Gene Barre. Loving mother of Jenny (Derek Matthews) and Tammy (Paul York) and devoted grandmother of Devon, Taylor, Dylan and Mckenzie. Dear daughter of Dolores and the late Mike Comar. Beautiful sister of Kathy (Gerald Lord), Carol (Roger Burley), Mike Comar, Shelly (Bob Croll) and Kelly Comar (Marg). She will also be very missed by many nieces, nephews and numerous other family members and friends. My Princess Diana fought so hard but due to the lack of funding there wasn’t enough time or research to give her the ammunition to fight this terrible disease. My beautiful wife donated her eyes so that someone else could see the beauty in life that she did every day. Please join us at the Port Hope Lion’s Center on November 18, 2018 from 1pm-5pm for a Celebration of Life in honour of Lynn. Bring your smiles, memories, stories and yourselves. Let’s remember and reminisce about her as she was so loved and will be forever remembered. In lieu of flowers, please donate to Ovarian Cancer Canada so we can help Lynn’s friends who are still continuing the battle to keep fighting until they find a cure. -Gene-
