Hilda’s Obituary
It is with heavy hearts that the families of Hilda Mary Pearce nee Wells announce her passing at the Corner Brook Long Term Care Facility, in Corner Brook, NL, on Sunday, October 28th, 2018 at the age of 88 years.
Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her children daughter; Eileen (Kenneth) Legge, sons; Wayne (Patricia), Frank (Wanda), Fred, George, and Brain (Beverley), her grandchildren; James (Lisa) Pearce, Jeffrey (Jill) Pearce, Christa Pearce, Melanie (Cory) Ricketts, James Legge, Vanessa (Lonnie) Payne, Christopher (Rebecca) Pearce, Brandon Pearce, Jennifer (Sheldon) Layden, and Gregory Pearce, her great grandchildren; Blake, Jaden, Cole, Maycee, Jenna, Joshua, Ashton, Neveah, step grandchildren; Laura lee (Robert0, Amanda, and Scott (Lisa), step great grandchildren; Cameron, Chloe, Ethan, Aaliyah. Her home care workers and the staff of the Corner Brook long term care facility thanks you. Mother was predeceased by her husband; James, son-in-law; Stanley George, daughter-in-law; Milda Pearce, sister; Meta (Cecil) Mercer, and her mother and father; Lucy and Lambert Wells.
The family will be receiving family and friends at The Anglican Church in Howley, NL, on Tuesday, October 30th, 2018, from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 pm, where also the Funeral Mass of Christian burial will take place from on Wednesday, October 31st, 2018 at 10:30 am, with Father Gabriel officiating with the burial to follow at the family plot of the Roman Catholic Cemetery.
Flowers and or donations can be made to the Roman Catholic Cemetery fund in Hilda’s memory would be gratefully appreciated by the family.
The funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Parsons Funeral Home & Chapel 63 North Main Street, Deer Lake, NL.
