It is with profound sadness we announce the passing of our mother Patricia Anne Drew (nee MacLean). She went to be with our Lord on Thursday morning October 25, 2018, after a long-fought battle with cancer.
She was predeceased by her parents, Tom and Anne MacLean and her husband Joseph Drew.
She leaves behind her children, Teresa (Drew Burchett), Joan (Andy Zinchuk), Rick Drew (Corinne), Alana (Dean Baird), Janet (Brad MacGregor), John Drew (Denise); her grandchildren, Mark, Mike, Danielle, Josh, Devon, Kennedy, Bruce, Joe and Jesse and her siblings, nieces & nephews, and many other relatives and friends.
The family would like to extend their gratitude to Dr. MacKay and all who cared for their mother at the Cross Cancer Institute and to all the compassionate care staff at the Norwood.
Friends and family are invited to a prayer service to be held at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 31, 2018, at our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, 13 Brower Dr. in Sherwood Park, Alberta. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at the same location at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, November 1, 2018.
In lieu of flowers, donations will be accepted for Father Jim’s Crucifix fund and can be made payable to the O.L.P.H. Parish on behalf of Patricia Drew.
