Jean’s Obituary
WESTVILLE – Jean Naomi Jack, Westville, went to be with her Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ on Thursday, October 18, 2018 in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow, surrounded by her family.
Born in New Glasgow, she was a daughter of the late George Russell and Bessie Margaret (Barnes) Currie. Jean enjoyed crocheting, sewing and tending her flower gardens. She was a faithful partner, alongside her husband, Barry in ministries throughout New Brunswick and Nova Scotia. Jean was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.
Surviving are her husband of 53 years, Barry Weldon Jack; daughters, Miriam (Anthony) Ward, Centerville; Brenda (Dwayne) Forsyth, Centerville; sons, Barry Jr. (Stacy) Jack, Tantallon; Timothy (April) Jack, Bayside; grandchildren, Tonya, Brittany, Corey, Bradley, Gabriel, Irelyn, Brody and Keleigh; great-grandchildren, Lucian, Justus, Aireanny, Annalise and Riley; sisters, Patsy (Donald) Goodyear, Dartmouth; several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by son, Robert; sisters, Sharon in infancy, Linda Currie; brother, Wayne Currie.
The family will receive visitors 1 – 1:50 p.m. Saturday, October 20th in Calvary Faith Church, Sonora from where funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. with Rev. Wayne Bray officiating, assisted with Pastor Ryan King. Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery, Sonora.
