Aldéo Maillet
1949-2018
Aldéo Maillet, 69, of Sainte-Marie-de-Kent passed away
peacefully surrounded by his family at the Moncton City Hospital on
Thursday October 11, 2018. Born in Bouctouche, he was the son of Ovila
and Huberte (LeBlanc) Maillet.
Aldéo was employed as a trucker for Delco Forest Products for
numerous years.
He will be sadly missed by his sons; Mike (Lisa) of Lunenburg, MA,
Serge of Nashville, TN, Marc (Stacy) of Leominster, MA, the mother of
his children, Florence Henrie, his grandchildren; Sophia, Elena,
Julia, Brady, Nicholas, Anabelle, Samuel, Nicholas, Mathieu, Natalie
and Nadia, his stepchildren; Serge Bernard (Chantal), Monique Bernard
(Charles), Nicole Babineau (Francis) and Charles Bernard (Diane) and
their mother Zita Bernard. He also leaves to mourn his sisters;
Jeannette LeBlanc (Donald) of Dieppe, Linda Maillet (Joe) of Lower
Sackville, NS, Noella Maillet of Dieppe, Charline Delong of
Fredericton, Shirley Collette (Roland) of Dieppe, Alice Green (James)
of Moncton, his brothers; Paul (May) of Bouctouche, Charles
(Jacqueline) of Sainte-Marie-de-Kent as well as several nieces and
nephews.
Visitations will be held at the Maillet Funeral Home, 29 rue de
l’église, Bouctouche, on Sunday October 14, 2018 from 2
to 4 and from 7 to 9pm and on Monday from 2 to 4pm. The Funeral Mass
will be held in the Notre-Dame du Mont-Carmel Church,
Sainte-Marie-de-Kent on Monday October 15, 2018 at 7:30pm, with
interment in the parish cemetery.
In Aldéo’s memory a donation can be made to the Friends
of the Moncton Hospital.
