Mr. Eric Majalahti
1946 -2018
It is with great sadness that the family announces his death in his home on Thursday, October 11, 2018 at the age of 72 years.
Beloved husband and best friend of 47 years of Elaine (nee Frank). Cherished father of Eric (Stephanie Leclair) Majalahti of Sudbury and loving grandfather of Daphne and Reija.
Eric is also survived by his sister-in-law Betty, his goddaughters Justice Clancy and Kelly Frank as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
He was predeceased by his parents Aarne and Vieno Majalahti, and his siblings Miriam, Aileen, Reino and Jack.
A celebration of Eric’s life will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, the Canadian Diabetes Association, The Kidney Foundation or to Access Transit and would be appreciated by the family.
