In Loving Memory
It is with great sadness that the family of Peter Murphy announce his passing after a courageous battle on September 18th, 2018 at Brampton Civic Hospital. Beloved husband to May for 56 years and loving father to Jim (Irma) and Deborah and grandfather to Cameron and Max.
Peter, May and their children emigrated from Glasgow, Scotland in April 1968 to begin a new life in Canada. Peter began his career, as a drafting engineer, with McDonnell Douglas Aerospace then with De Havilland/Bombardier Aerospace for approximately 30 years. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed many games with his fellow golf enthusiasts at De Havilland.
May would like to thank their family physician Dr. Ferlisi for all her assistance during Peter’s illness. May would also like to thank the staff at Brampton Civic Hospital for providing care to Peter while he was in hospital.
The Murphy family are having a private memorial at Scott Funeral Home – Brampton Chapel. Cremation has already taken place. The family would appreciate any donations, in Peter’s name, to the charity of your choice. Your kind thoughts and prayers are greatly appreciated at this difficult time. Thank you.
