Obituary Overview
Clarence Michael Jacyk
With great sadness and heavy hearts we announce the passing of Clare Jacyk on October 6, 2018. Left to cherish his memory are his wife of fifty-six years Joan, daughters Jami (Shaun) and Jodi, grandson Jasper, sister Janet (Fred), and nephew Jim and family. Clare had a very close relationship with his son-in-law Shaun and considered him to be his son.
Clare loved spending time on his homestead surrounded by his tools, tractors and all living creatures on his property. He moved gently through the world and took excellent and fierce care of his “girls”. His presence always made us feel safe. He had a soft spot for strays and never hesitated to give an extra dog or cat a new home.
Special thanks to Seven Oaks Hospital for their loving care and the respect they had for Clare. Thank you to the “Angels with Comfortable Shoes” (nurses).
We would also like to thank Dr. Olivier for being a port in the storm and Dr. V. Dao and Brittany for their care over the past five years.
As per Clare’s wishes cremation has taken place and no formal service will be held.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Clare’s name to a charity of one’s choice.
“What you leave behind is not engraved in stone monuments, but what is woven into the lives of others”.
WE MISS YOU DAD
Nos plus sincères sympathies à la famille et aux amis de Clarence Michael Jacyk 2018..
