Brown, Marilyn “Marnie” (nee Mercer) passed away suddenly at the Hamilton General Hospital, surrounded by family on Sunday October 7, 2018, after an unexpected battle with cancer at the age of 69. Loving wife of Tom Brown for almost 50 years. Loving mother of Tammy (Scott), Don, and Steve. Proud grandmother of Jordan, McKenzie, Curtis, Delaney, Joscelyn (Broady), Ava, and Bray, and great grandmother of Karmin and Keenan. Dear sister of Gwen (Martin), Don (Kate), Sheree (Pat), Patti (Terry), and Kathy (Blaine). Aunt to Melissa, Ryan, Angie (Richard), Meaghan (Al), Erin (Mike), Scott, Mike (Kayla), Kyle (Melissa), Krysta (Blace), Kaylah (Joel), Rhonda (Beau), Adam, Luke (Jess), Amy, Kierstyn (Shaun), Reid (Sara), and Liam. Remembered by many great nieces & nephews. Marilyn will also be dearly missed by Tom’s family, especially, Susan (Derik), Brittany, Hunter, Scott, Lindsay, Mathieu, Michelle, Paula, and Bill. Predeceased by her parents Red & Coral Mercer, by her granddaughter Hailey, and by her sister-in-laws Debbie and Kathy. A Service to Celebrate the life of Marilyn Brown will be held at the Eagleson Funeral Home, Southampton on Thursday October 11, 2018 at 2 p.m. with visitation beginning at 1 p.m. If desired, memorial donations may be made to Saugeen Memorial Hospital Foundation or to the charity of your choice.
