Elmer Z. MacFarlane
1945-2018
The death of Elmer Zemro MacFarlane of Centreville occurred on Sunday,
October 7, 2018 at the Central Carleton Nursing Home, Hartland. Born
October 5, 1945 in Woodstock he was the son of the late Walter and
Della (Stairs) McFarlane. He was also predeceased by his 2 wives, Mary
and Linda MacFarlane; 1 brother, John; step grandson, Cody McLean.
Elmer is survived by his 2 daughters, Cathy Wheelan (Barry) and Kim
Hicks (Erroll); 5 grandchildren, Kirsten, Caleb, Megan, Colby and
Emmett; great granddaughter, Terri-Anne; 2 step daughters, Nadine
Willis (Richard Page) and Coleen McLean (George Lint); 3 step
grandchildren, Connell, Jonathan and Sierra; 2 step great
grandchildren, Jonathan and Kyra; 1 sister, Mildred MacKenzie and many
extended family.
Visitation will be held from L. R. Giberson Funeral Directors, 207
Burnham Rd. Florenceville-Bristol on Wednesday, October 10, 2018 from
1-3 pm. A funeral service will follow at 3:00 pm. The interment will
be in the Tracey Mills Cemetery. Donations made to the Central
Carleton Nursing Home, or the Dialysis Unit at the Upper River Valley
Hospital, Waterville would be appreciated.
