ANTHONY, Gerald Phillip – It is with broken hearts we announce the sudden passing of our brother Gerald Anthony age 60 years. Predeceased by his parents: William and Venita Anthony and nephews: Dean Anthony and Colby Orser. Leaving to mourn his children: Amanda Fisher (Randy) and Cory Carten; grandchildren: Ruthie Fisher and Rhys Fisher. Also leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his siblings: Nelson (Genevieve), Tony, George (Wanda), Ruby (Norman) Orser, Venita (B. Norman) Orser, Ken (Regina) and Bonnie, as well as a large number of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Visitation will be held at Barrett’s Funeral Home 73 Commonwealth Ave., Mt. Pearl on Wednesday, September 26, 2018 from 2:00 -4:00 and 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 27, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. from Barrett’s Chapel Mt. Pearl. Interment to follow at the Salvation Army Cemetery Blaketown, NL. As expressions of sympathy, flowers gratefully accepted or donations can be made in Gerald’s memory to the Blaketown Cemetery.
