LAMB, Howard
August, 1933 — October, 2018
Howard Bruce Lamb passed away surrounded by his three daughters on October 2, 2018.
Howard was born to Clifford Eldon and Ruth Lamb in Smeaton, Saskatchewan. Along with his two sisters, Shirley and Carolyn, he was raised in Love, Saskatchewan and Calgary, Alberta. He joined the RCMP in 1955 and proudly served until 1989. In one of his first posting in BC, he met and married, Janice Anderson. Together they had many adventures in the Yukon and NWT before moving to Alberta. They then retired to Westbank in 1991.
Howard was an excellent marksman, avid fisherman and accomplished woodworker. You might have purchased one of his Adirondack chairs from the Kelowna Farmer’s Market.
Left to carry on his spirit of life are his three daughters, three grandchildren, one great grandchild, his sisters and many nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, October 6, 2018 at 1:00 pm at Springfield Funeral Home, 2020 Springfield Rd, Kelowna, BC. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Cops for Kids, www.copsforkids.org.
