It is with great sadness we announce the sudden passing of Ryelee John Hajer Lockhart on September 23, 2018 at the age of 19. Left to cherish Ryelee’s memory are his father Marvin (Ginette) Lockhart, mother Ashlee (Joshua) Hajer; sisters, Ivy (Derek), Taylor, and Aliyah; brothers Kane and Kingston; nephew, Jayden; grandparents, Sonia Lockhart, and Grant and Audrey Lucier; great-grandmother, Dorthy Grymek as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends. Ryelee will also be forever missed by his good friend Jordan Amundsen and his family who we would like to thank for all their love and support of Ryelee, and his girlfriend Justyce Stremble and her family for loving him always.
Ryelee worked at Harris Rebar in Winnipeg as an app iron worker and was a member of the ironworkers
Local 728. Outside of work, he was a quiet, kind and funny young man who loved sports, cars and shoes. Ryelee was a caring and loving brother and uncle who the little kids always shared a special bond with. Ryelee’s passing has forever left a void in the hearts of those who loved him. As a family we are proud that Ryelee’s last act of amazingness was to be an organ donor, giving others the gift of life.
We would like to extend our thanks to the emergency responders, the doctors and nurses in the HSC Emergency and SICU and the organ donation coordinators for their care of Ryelee.
A celebration of Ryelee’s life will be held at Calvary Temple located at 400 Hargrave St on Sunday, October 7, 2018 at 2:00 PM. A lunch will follow down stairs.
Nos plus sincères sympathies à la famille et aux amis de Ryelee John Hajer Lockhart November 3 1998 September 29 2018 (age 19)..
