Sharon’s Obituary
MURPHY, Sharon Doreen – Age 72, of Aylesford East, Kings Co., passed away on Thursday, September 27, 2018, in Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born in North River, she was a daughter of the late H. Manson and Marjorie M.(Whynot) Robar. Sharon spent her life devoted to loving and caring for her family and husband, Ronnie (Ronald) of 56 years, who has since passed away. She played a great role in helping raise her three grandchildren. Sharon will be forever remembered for the home cooked meals that are now family staples she has passed on, as well as all of the treats she baked for anyone that walked through her door. She loved to play cards and bingo, and loved to watch and attend wrestling. Over the last few years of her life, Sharon was extremely grateful for grandson, Adam, who cared for her after Ronnie was admitted to the Grand View Manor. Surviving are her daughters, Pamela “Pam” (Tim) Peddle, Norman’s Cove, Nfld.; Violet (Woody Piercey) Murphy, Grand Prairie, Alta.; grandchildren, Megan Keddy, Adam Bent and Kelsey (Kyran) Pennell; great-grandchildren, Amber, Jaxon, Jonas and a fourth on the way; several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by sister, Sylvia McKay; brothers, Carter, Warren and Chester Robar. A celebration of life will take place at Aylesford East Community Hall, 3157 Hwy No. 1, Aylesford East, on Saturday, October 6 from 1 pm to 6pm. At her request, Sharon wanted music played, so feel free to bring an instrument if you play. Donations may be made to Canadian Liver Foundation.
