Margaret Effie Powell
Powell, Margaret Effie passed away peacefully on Sunday September 30, 2018 at Collingwood General & Marine Hospital in her 102nd year. Predeceased by her beloved husband William. Margaret will always be cherished by her children William and his wife Lorna and Mary Kay and her husband Ron. Margaret is also predeceased by her two children Robert and Eleanor. Margaret will always be warmly remembered by her 10 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. The family would like to thank Dr. Brian Recoskie and the staff at the General and Marine Hospital and the staff at Blue Mountain Manor for the care and compassion Margaret received. As per her wishes cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be Fawcett Funeral Home –Collingwood Chapel On Saturday October 27, 2018 at 1 p.m. For those wishing to make a donation as an expression of sympathy please consider the Canadian Cancer Society.
