Obituary of Anna Gerkes
(nee Zalik)
Passed away at Lakeridge Health Bowmanville, on Friday August 31, 2018.
Anna was predeceased by her loving husband Martin Gerkes in 2014. Only 12 short days after her passing, her only child Martin also passed away. She is survived by her siblings Tila (the late Milan) Ludvik, Joe Zalik and Tony & Denise Zalik. Also left to mourn her passing are Martin Jr.’s partner, Catherine Long, and many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service for both Anna and Martin Daniel at NORTHCUTT ELLIOTT FUNERAL HOME, 53 Division St. N. Bowmanville on Saturday November 3rd, at 11 am. A social hour will proceed the joint service.
