Always Loved
Angeline passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her four daughters in Whitecourt, Alberta after a short illness. Over the September long weekend, she was thrilled with a happy family gathering at her home with all her children, their spouses and grandchildren.
Angie was born in Vegreville Alberta and moved to Edmonton to work at Canada Packers. Here she met Stan and they married in 1958. After their four daughters were born, they moved to Fort McMurray in 1967 before semi-retiring to Kelowna BC in 1974 and later to an acreage in Armstrong BC in 1980. In 1992, they returned to Edmonton briefly before settling in Whitecourt. Angie was always a loving mother and supportive wife and curious about her grandchildren. She enjoyed and appreciated many activities at the Whitecourt Seniors Circle including floor curling, crib tournaments and BINGO!
She was predeceased by her husband, Stanley in 2002, her father Nick and mother Mary (nee Kosoway), brothers John, Mike, Ed and Peter and sister Anne Auch. She is lovingly remembered by her sister Lucille Shysh, daughters Shannon Wheeler (John), Corinne Theodore (Cam), Darlene Robinson (Lance) and Laura Lydyniuk (Wayne), ten grandchildren and one great grandson.
A heartfelt thank you to her longtime GP Dr. Jane Ojedokun and the home care nursing team in Whitecourt for their wonderful compassionate care.
Her four daughters were her special angels, and they will forever cherish their Mom as a beautiful and gentle soul bringing sunshine to their lives, to her grandchildren and to all who knew her.
A Remembrance Celebration for family and friends will be held at the Whitecourt Seniors Circle, 5212 50 St. on Monday, October 8, 2018 from 2:00 to 5:00 pm. A private family interment to join Stan will be held at Glenwood Memorial Gardens, Sherwood Park, Alberta.
