Obituary of Loraine Knox
(nee Tink)
Surrounded by her loving family, our beloved mother, grandmother and
great grandmother, passed away at Lakeridge Health Bowmanville, on Sunday
September 23, 2018, in her 88th year.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband Harry and oldest son Dean.
Loving mother of Boyd (Kathy), Darrell (Louise) and Jeff (Sandra). Dear
mother in law of Bonny. Cherished grandma of Gregory (Melissa), Jason
(Chris), Michael (Lyndsey), Ryan (Morgan), Bradley (Ashleigh), Ian
(Barb), Shawn (Dana), Tiana, Derrick (Laura), Spencer, Hilton and
great-grandma to Adele, Grace, Gage, Madison, Isla, Easton, Daniel and
Harrison. Loving sister of Muriel (the late Keith) Shackelton & Ken &
Marg Tink. Loraine was predeceased by her brother Walt (Marjorie) Tink
as well as in-laws John, Helen, Walter, Ross, Evelyn, George and Barb.
Daughter of the late Hilton & Myrtle Tink.
Visitation will be held at SOLINA COMMUNITY HALL, 1964 Concession Road
6, Hampton on Monday October 1st, 2018 from 11 – 1:30 pm. A Memorial
Service will follow at ELDAD UNITED CHURCH, 1848 Concession Road 6,
Hampton at 2 pm. Arrangements entrusted to NORTHCUTT ELLIOTT FUNERAL
HOME, 53 Division Street Bowmanville. In lieu of flowers, Memorial
donations may be made to Eldad Church or Bowmanville Hospital
Foundation.
