Wilkinson, Ann Harriett – With heavy hearts the family announces the death of Ann Wilkinson at the age of 78 years. Ann passed away suddenly, Sunday, September 23, 2018 at Temiskaming Hospital.
Born February 14, 1940, Ann was the daughter of the late Howard Wilkinson and the late Reva Jean Frisbee. Some may remember her owning the “Jack & Jill Shoppe” on Whitewood Ave. Ann (Granny) loved her family and her dogs (all animals, strays included), always putting them ahead of herself. She was a wonderful gardener, crafter, and friend. She loved New Liskeard, and spent her entire life here.
Ann was predeceased by her parents; her grandson Samuel and great-granddaughter Charlotte. Forever missed by her loving daughter Nancy [Jacques] Béland. Fondly remembered by grandchildren: Alexandre [Jennifer], Danielle [Jean-Michel], Nicolas and Zachary; great-grandchildren: Emmanuelle, Benjamin, Madeleine, Michelle, Zoé, Jacob and Caleb. Also survived by her brother Bob Wilkinson.
In keeping with her wishes, cremation will take place at Lakeview Crematorium. A private memorial gathering will take place followed by interment of ashes at Pioneer Cemetery – New Liskeard at a later date. Memorial contributions to the Canadian Cancer Society will be gratefully acknowledged. Condolences, contributions and memorial candles may be left at www.buffamleveille.com.
