1939-2018
The family announces with sorrow his peaceful death at the Golden Manor on Thursday, September 20, 2018 at the age of 79 years. Beloved husband of Jacqueline Jetté (nee Dénommé). Loving father of the late Ricky Jetté (2015), Nancy Carrière (Larry) and Michelle Jetté (Marc Paul) of Ottawa. Dear “grand-papa” of Tiffany, Larry Jr., Veronique and Rébecca. Brother of Nelson (Lise) of Timmins, Germain (Diane) of Timmins, Roy of British Columbia, Ernestine of Maniwaki, QC and Hervé of Parc de la Vérendrye, QC. Predeceased by his sisters Ernestine, Marjolaine and Claudette and by his brother Florent. Johnny will be missed by his sister-in-law Gabrielle Péppin, brother-in-laws Emile Dénommé & Gerald Dupuis, his many nieces and nephews, his friends and neighbours on Bélanger Avenue and his loyal dog McGinn. Johnny enjoyed the outdoors, especially fishing, hunting, canoeing with his brother Germain, sports and wood stocking to keep his house warm. He was above all a loyal friend and family man. The family wish to thank the TDH second floor staff and the Golden Manor Special Care Unit for the care Johnny received in the last few years. In respecting his wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held. Remembrance donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
