Ecker, Robert Earl “Bob”. Peacefully, surrounded by his loving family on Saturday September 22, 2018 at the Hamilton General Hospital in his 83rd year.
Bob Ecker Sr. beloved husband to Jan for over 60 years. Loving father to Lorie Hyma (Anna), Kevin (Shelley), Kim Baker (Rob), and Bob Jr. (Karen). Proud and loving Grandpa to 9 grandchildren and their families. Survived by his sister Shirley, predeceased by sister Jennie Waters and brother Jack Ecker. Lovingly remembered by his nieces, nephews and their families.
Bob was a proud and dedicated member of the Dunnville Optimist Club for over 25 years. He took pride in his community and volunteered for many organizations, sports and community events. However, his greatest love was for Jan and his family who always came first in his life.
Friends may call at JW Hart Funeral Home on Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Funeral and Committal services will be held at South Cayuga Community Church (6182 Rainham Rd Dunnville) on Wednesday September 26, 2018 at 11:00 am followed by cremation. In lieu of flowers donations to the Dunnville Hospital & Healthcare Foundation or Dunnville Fire Department Association STN 1 would be appreciated by the family.
