Marie Stefanuk (nee Onyschuk) passed away peacefully on Saturday September 15, 2018 surrounded by her family in St. Mary’s General Hospital in Kitchener, Ontario. She was 94 years old. She is survived by her son William (Bill) Stefanuk, daughter-in-law Nancy Stefanuk (nee Burgers), and three grandchildren Mike, Tony, and Darren. She is also survived by many cherished relatives. Marie was predeceased by her beloved husband Michael W. Stefanuk in 1989, her parents Peter and Francis Onyschuk, brothers Bernie and Joe Onyschuk, and her sisters Kaye Merkowski (George) and Pauline Lebitka (Lawrence).
Visitation to be held at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King Street S., Waterloo ON, on Friday, September 21, 2018 from 7-9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Louis RC Church, 53 Allen Street East, Waterloo, ON on Saturday, September 22 at 11:00 am. Reception to follow at Erb & Good Family Funeral Home.
Burial will take place at Woodlawn Cemetery in Saskatoon SK following cremation at a later date.
