OBITUARY
Mr. Herbert Granville Plowman
25 July , 1923 – 3 September , 2018
Surrounded by family, Dad passed away in Edmonton at the age of 95. God has welcomed a gracious gentle soul. Dad will be remembered with love forever by his children: Brian (Anne) Plowman of Western Australia, Brenda (Darrell) Robinson of Carrot Creek, AB, Barb (Dan) Nugent of Cobble Hill, BC, grandchildren Heather (Ben) Dreckow, Ian Plowman, Meghan (David) Marshall, all of Western Australia, Trevor (Marjorie) Ross, Amy (Brent) Golemiec all of Edmonton, AB, great grandchildren, Zachary, Ella and Noah Dreckow of Western Australia, Harvey and Sydney Ross of Edmonton, and dearly loved nieces and nephews. Dad, we will always remember your unconditional love, constant support, sense of humour and your strong gentle hands. You have left us with a legacy of doing good, being positive and showing gratitude to those around you every day. Your sincere respect and unconditional acceptance of all people would surely earn the praise from the Father of “Well done, good and faithful servant.”
Our family expresses our heartfelt gratitude to the staff of Shepherd’s Care Kensington and the Kipnes Centre for Veterans for their sincere and loving care for Dad and kindness extended to our family.
A Celebration of Bert’s Life will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, September 15, 2018 at Shepherd’s Care Kensington 12603-135 Ave., Edmonton with interment to follow at Beechmount Cemetery 12420-104 St., Edmonton.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Kipnes Centre for Veterans or the Kipnes Centre for Veterans Day Program 4470 McRae Ave., Edmonton, AB T5E 6M8.
