It is with broken hearts that the family of the late
ALFRED E. ROSE of Marystown announces his passing.
Alfred
passed away at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Center in Burin on
September 6th, 2018 at the age of
83. Leaving to mourn with a
lifetime of wonderful memories are his wife Anna of 60 years; sons,
Alfred Jr. (Cheryl) of Toronto, Kevin (Cordella) of St.
John’s and Wade (Tina Belliveau) of Marystown; daughters,
Margaret Rose (Frank Fair) of Gananoque, Ont, Alice Cooke (Don) of
Winterland, Angela Grandy (Roger) of Winterland, Annette Collins (Gus)
of Clarenville and Karen Stapleton (Dave) of
Marystown; 13 grandchildren, and 8 great-grandchildren;
step-sister, Rita Rose (Ron) of Marystown; brothers-in-law, Peter
Fitzpatrick (Mary) of Marystown and Daniel Brake (Phyllis) of Keswick,
Ont. plus a large circle of
extended family and friends.
Alfred
was predeceased by his parents, Ernest and Angela Rose; children,
Sandra and Kenneth and sister, Margaret
Rose.
The Rose Family will be accepting visitors at
Wiseman’s Funeral Homes in Marystown on Saturday, September
8th from 10 am to 9 pm and
Sunday, September 9th from 1 pm to 9 pm. Mass of
Christian Burial will take place at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church
in Marystown on Monday, September 10th at 10:30
am
Vigil
will be Sunday, September 9th at 7
pm
Interment to follow at
the Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Cemetery,
Marystown.
In Alfred’s
memory donations may be made to the Sacred Heart Restoration Fund,
Marystown or flowers gratefully accepted.
