Cyrilla Doucet
1935-2018
Cyrilla Doucet (Landry)
passed away peacefully at the age of 83 on Wednesday, September 5th,
2018. Born in Beresford, NB she was the daughter of the late Arthur
and Martha Landry (Bryar). She married Norman Doucet in 1954 who
preceded her in death in 2009. They celebrated their
50th wedding anniversary in
2004.
Cyrilla was known to her
family and friends for her many special talents. She was well known
for her love of cooking, quilting and crafting. But mostly, she gave
her time and her love to her family. She gave her heart freely to her
best friend Larry Lennon and welcomed his family into hers. She had a
special bond with her great- grandchildren Ever, Aiden and Jackson as
well as newly born Alexa and soon to be born Lyla.
Cyrilla is survived by two
loving children, Jolene Lizotte (Terry) of Sudbury, Ontario and Bruno
Doucet of Toronto, Ontario, 4 wonderful grandchildren, Nicholas
Lizotte (Brittany), Julia Lizotte, Remi Bon, and Nadine Bon as well as
many nieces and nephews. She was loved by her brother Guy Landry of
Edmonton, Alberta, as well as her sister Huguette Jean (Etienne) of
Beresford, NB and many sisters and brothers-in-law. She was
predeceased by her brothers Roland Landry (Gaby), Clovis Landry
(Janet) and Olivio Landry.
Please join us in
celebrating Cyrilla’s life on Monday, September 10, 2018 at the
