Clementina Pagliaro
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Clementina Pagliaro, a devoted and loving wife, mother, nonna, sister, aunt and friend. Clementina passed away peacefully at Royal Columbian Hospital surrounded by her three children on August 31, 2018. She was born on November 9, 1935 in Amato, Catanzaro, Italy. Predeceased by her parents Pietro and Carmela, her sister Giovanna, and her little girl Elsa. Clementina is survived by her loving family, husband Rodolfo, her children Filomena (Tony), Fortunato (Susi), Claudia (Michael), her grandchildren Jennifer (Shawn), Nancy (Denis), Jason (Kari), Stephanie, Michelle, Danielle and Marcus and her great-grandchildren who she adored Ariana, Ryan, Olivia, Sienna, Marco and Stefano. She is also survived by her siblings Tommaso, (Maria), Frank, (Maria) and Maria (Tony) as well as many nieces and nephews. Clementina was the most loving, kind and generous woman and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 9, 2018 from 6-8pm at Bell & Burnaby Funeral Chapel, 4276 Hastings Street, Burnaby, BC. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, September 10, 2018 at 10:00am at Our Lady of Sorrows Church, 525 S. Slocan Street, Vancouver, BC. Entombment to follow at Ocean View Burial Park, Abbey Mausoleum, Burnaby, BC. In Lieu of flowers, donations in Clementina’s honour may be made to the Alzheimer Society of BC and BC Children’s Hospital Foundation.
