Deborah Jane MacIntosh
Deborah Jane MacIntosh (Webber), 61, of Dartmouth, died Sunday, September 2, 2018, at the Dartmouth General Hospital. She was born December 4, 1956, in Halifax, the beloved daughter of Lynwood and Sylvia Webber.
Debbie graduated from Prince Andrew High School in Dartmouth and spent her working years in the financial services industry. She first started with the Federal Saving Credit Union, then the Royal Bank, and after completing her MBA, lastly as a personal investment advisor with Canaccord Genuity. Debbie was a beautiful person and loved spending time with her friends, family, children and especially her grandchildren. She loved to travel and enjoyed the peace and solitude of their Florida home. Debbie enjoyed the outdoors, especially on the golf course and in the garden. She will always be remembered for her positive disposition, her laughter, and gentle, compassionate and caring way.
Besides her husband Herb, she is survived by her children, Jarrett (Jen) McKay of Dartmouth, Jason (Melissa Aelick) McKay of Dartmouth, and Jon (Melissa) McKay of Wilsonville; step-children, Pamela Mitchell of Dartmouth, Angela (Quinn) McCarthy of Bible Hill, Chris (Kristie) MacIntosh of Dartmouth and Corinne (Kyle) Brown of Fall River; grandchildren, Jazmine and Josh McKay, JJ Aelick-McKay, Jett and Judd McKay, Lily and Emma Mitchell, Aidan, Molly and Nora McCarthy, Sadie MacIntosh, Rowan, Harvey and Vance Brown; a brother, Kevin (Kathy) Webber of Dartmouth; and two sisters, Charmaine (Bill) Lever of Dartmouth and Crystal (Todd) Carruthers of Dartmouth, nieces and nephews, Monica (Eric) Nielson, Nick and Kayla Lever and Ryan Carruthers.
She was predeceased by her sisters, Pamela Webber and Judith McIndless.
The family will welcome relatives and friends for memorial visitation on Thursday September 6th between 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 pm in Atlantic Funeral home 771 Main Street, Dartmouth. Funeral service will be held on Friday, September 7, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. in the Atlantic Funeral Home Chapel with a reception following the service. Interment in Dartmouth Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
