OBITUARY
Mrs. Sibille Anna Maria Portz
September 8, 1934 – August 21, 2018
It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Sibille Portz.
Sibille was born on the farm near Regina, Saskatchewan on Sept 8, 1934; the oldest daughter of Carl and Albertina Brocker. She is predeceased by her parents, sister Ute Toal, brother Ben Brocker, daughter Patricia Portz and her loving husband Lloyd.
Those who mourn her passing include her children Carolyn, Lyle (Anna), Sandra (William), Marianne (Lawrence). She will be remembered with love by grandchildren Jeremy, Sandra (Paul), Cole, Davis, Samantha, Cody, Nate and great grandson Nathaniel. She will also be missed by the large extended family of Brockers and Portzs.
Sibille grew up in the Swan River area where she worked at the creamery. Sibille raised her 5 children and went back to work when her youngest was in school full time.
On Aug 18, 1954, Sibille married Lloyd Portz in Swan River, Manitoba. The union provided 60 years of dedication to God, family, work and community.
A funeral mass will be held on Monday August 27, 2018 at 11:00 am at Mary Mother Church, 85 Kirkbridge Drive. Interment will take place at a later date.
