Michelle Brace (nee Halliday)
November 03, 1975 – August 16, 2018
It is with great sadness that we announce Michelle’s passing on Thursday, August 16, 2018 while surrounded by her family and loved ones. Michelle who lost her 3 year battle with Melanoma will be greatly missed for her generosity, soft-hearted thoughtfulness, vitality, her feisty and courageous spirit and her commitment to her work. She is predeceased by her Pop Halliday, Poppy White and uncles, Ed and Rick. Michelle is lovingly remembered by her husband, Steve; sons, Morgan and Jack; daughter, Sophia and step-daughter, Michelle. She also leaves behind with fond and loving memories, her parents, Mike and Cass; sister, Rianne (Robert) and nieces Emily and Sarah; grandparents, Kay Halliday and Mary (Charles) Johnson; parents-in-law, Sandy and Gloria; brother-in-law, Jamie (Rachel); sister-in-law Sherry (Bruce) and a large circle of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends. Sincere appreciation to Dr. Elizabeth Callahan, Dr. Rorke, Dr. McCarthy and Dr. Downton as well as to the nurses and staff of 4NB at the Health Sciences Centre. Special thanks to Pauline Halliday “Auntie P” and to Glenn and Darlene for their unwavering support throughout this difficult time.
Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation on Sunday from 12-4pm and 6-9pm. Funeral Mass will take place at 2pm on Monday, August 20, 2018 from St. Teresa’s Church with interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Michelle’s memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the Royal LePage Women’s Shelter Foundation.
