Lovingly Remembered
Tony Hnetka, age 89, of Calgary, Alberta passed away peacefully on August 10, 2018 at the Foothills Medical Centre. Born January 6, 1929 in the Woodlight District, near Sturgis, SK. In 1974 he married his wife Gwen, and they made their home in Calgary, AB. Tony was predeceased by his parents, George Hnetka and Nora (Michael) Kniazik, and brother William (Sylvia) Hnetka. He is survived and lovingly remembered by his wife, Gwen, sisters Zelma Chester, Elizabeth (Maurice) Chubaty, brother Ed (Fay) Hnetka, sisters-in-law Joyce Wilson, Faye (Rob) Willms, three step-sons, Keith (Rita) Clarke, Stephen (Denise) Clarke, John Clarke (Sue Bradley), two sons, Greg (Tammy) Garson, Bradley Garson, 14 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
A Visitation was held at Mountain View Funeral Home, (1605 – 100 Street SE, Calgary) on Friday, August 17, 2018 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
