Anne White
September 24, 1941 – August 11, 2018
The family of Anne White regretfully announces her passing on Saturday, August 11, 2018 at the Atikokan General Hospital.
Anne was born on September 24, 1941 in Winnipeg, Manitoba to Paul and Anne Stamborski. The family moved to Atikokan when Anne was a teenager and she resided here all her life. She worked at the Bay before marrying Reginald White and then settled in to her role as wife and mother. She loved to cook and spent countless hours scouring recipes and trying new dishes out on her family and friends. She loved to make jam and sold it at many weekend markets. After the boys were older she returned to work, working as a receptionist at the Atikokan Clinic for many years. She was a member of the Atikokan Royal Canadian Legion Ladies Auxiliary.
She leaves behind her husband Reginald; son Paul; granddaughter Heather; sister Mary Boswick; brother-in-law David White and partner Rita; sister-in-law Joan and husband Tony Hutnick as well as several nieces and nephews.
Anne was predeceased by her parents Paul and Anne; son Darrel; sister Dallas Colbey; brother-in-law John White and sister-law Marg Fugate.
Cremation has taken place and a private family interment will be held.
