Obituary for Maria « Mary » Petronella Soers (Reijnders)
Maria “Mary” Petronella Soers (nee Reijnders), of Walkerton, passed away on Tuesday, August 14, 2018 in her 89th year.
Beloved mother of Hank (Elaine), Tom (Laurie) all of Mildmay, MaryAnn (Scott) McFadden of Pinkerton, Betty Wilken (Bob LeGrand) of Walkerton, Joan (Craig) Griffiths of Waterloo, Dave (Dee Cairns) of Strathmore AB, John (Michelle) of Port Elgin, Rob (Melody) of Mildmay and Judy (Chip) Kupferschmidt of Waterloo. Cherished grandmother of 28 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Fien (Aart) Verveer, Ann Duijts and Nelly Beerens and sister-in-law of Mia (Piet) Reijnders and Mia (Sjaak) Reijnders, Mia (Harry) Moonen, Martha Van Deursen and Drika Hekers and many nieces and nephews all of Holland.
Mary was predeceased by her husband Joseph; daughter- in- law Donna Soers, great-grandson Daylan Hopcraft and brothers Sjaak, Piet and Jan Reijnders.
Visitation will be held at Cameron Funeral Home, Walkerton on Thursday from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. with parish prayers at 3:45 p.m. and Knights of Columbus Rosary at 7:45 p.m.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Sacred Heart Church, Walkerton on Friday, August 17, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. Rev. Les Szczygiel officiating.
Interment in Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Formosa.
