Josephat Leger
1928-2018
RICHIBOUCTOU-VILLAGE, NB
– Josephat Leger, 89, formerly of Richibouctou-Village
passed away peacefully at the Rexton Lions Nursing Home on Wednesday,
August 8th, 2018. Born in Richibouctou-Village,
he was the son of the late Cloris and Rose (Boucher) Leger. Before
retiring, Josephat worked as a carpenter. He was a member of the
Richibouctou-Village Club d’Age
d’Or.
Josephat will be sadly
missed by his loving wife, Regina; daughter, Anise Doucette (Fernand)
of Bouctouche; two sons, Fernand (Carmelle) of Shediac and Rheal
(Rina) of Bedec; four grandchildren, Mario, Marc, Andre and Nadia; and
five great grandchildren, Ella, Eve, Thomas, Remi and
Yanik.
Josephat also leaves to
mourn four brothers, Exibe (late Alphonsine) of Richibucto, Henri
(Dorice) of Richibouctou-Village, Aurel (late Dora) of
Richibouctou-Village and Gerald (Rita) of Richibucto; as well as
several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents,
Josephat is predeceased by three sisters, Geneva, Eleonore and Aline,
as well as by four brothers, Leon, Armand, Ola and
Leo-Paul.
A private family service
will be held at a later date.
Arrangements are in the
professional care of Thompson’s Funeral Home, Richibucto.
