Obituary for
James Stoner
At his residence in Thedford on August 3, 2018, James Francis Stoner in his 80th year. Beloved husband of the late Maggie (Hazen, 2015). Loving father of Jim, Starr & late Bill (2017), Scott & Jackie and step-father to Paul & Sandy, Steve & Barb, and Trent & Kelly. Cherished papa of Winter, Tom, Courtny, late John (2014), Dalton, Brittany, Katie, Wesley, Christopher, Damien, Austin, Hanna, Jamie-Lynn and beloved great papa to Nola, and Stevie-Lynne. Marg and Jim were a staple of the Thedford community running the original Papa Jim’s Pizza for years and many of the community’s members will remember their youth and times at Papa Jim’s Pizza. Jim also served his community as a council member and volunteer firefighter for many years. Jim also served the community as a member of the International Optimist Club, in athletics as an umpire for many years and was an avid golfer.
A graveside service for Jim will be held at Pinehill Cemetery on Saturday, August 11, 2018 at 1:00pm. Memorial donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation will be gratefully appreciated.
