Obituary of Norman Patrick
Peacefully with his family by his side at Renfrew Hospice, Norm passed away after a short, courageous battle with cancer. He leaves behind to carry on his legacy and memory, the love of his life, his beautiful wife, Brenda Patrick (nee Ostrom), his cherished, only daughter, Meghan (Todd Brohart) and his 4 grandchildren, his little treasures; Maya, Arleigh, Callen and Madison. He was the eldest son of the late Norman Patrick Sr. and Mary Patrick (nee O’Callaghan) of Liverpool, England. He leaves his brothers Anthony Patrick and Barry Patrick and sister Eunice Patrick (Keith Carson). His nephews who he adored like sons; Dez Landry, Patrick and Mark Richer, Christopher Patrick and Steve Ostrom. His nieces Melanie Ostrom and Antonia Patrick. He also leaves behind many extended family and loving friends. Our amazing Normie lived a life of adventure, warmth, love and passion. He came from Liverpool, England and always held his home and family very close to his heart. Normie would like us all to carry on his memory with an Irish Gathering, music, food and lots of stories at the Bryson Lions Hall on Saturday, August 25, 2018 from 1:00-4:00 p.m. A Blessing will take place at 1 p.m. by Fr. J. Kenneth O’Brien. In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to Hospice Renfrew or to the Dunraven Cemetery. www.hayesfuneralhome.ca
