Obituary Overview
Tom Leeson
It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Tom Leeson on July 24, 2018 at the age of 64 years.
He will be lovingly missed by Holly, his children, Jason (Karen) and Corey (Kerri); grandchildren, Samantha (Kael), Tye (Brooke), Tia, Evan, Noah, and Laura; and great-grandson, Liam. Also left to cherish his memory are his brothers, Barry (Anne) and Brent (Debbie); the Belyk family, along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.
Tom was predeceased by his parents, Dick and Lovie, and his brother Daryl.
Tom was born and raised in Transcona. He started his career in the family business at Red River Messenger before moving to the Winnipeg Free Press. His entrepreneurial spirit then led him to purchase the Dallas General Store in Dallas, Manitoba in 1995. Tom was not only a storekeeper but became a valued member of the community and friend to many in Dallas and the surrounding area for the last 23 years.
A Celebration of Tom’s Life will be held at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd, on Monday, July 30th at 2:00pm.
To honour his memory, in lieu of flowers, friends may make a donation to a charity of their choice.
Nos plus sincères sympathies à la famille et aux amis de Tom Leeson 2018.source
