Beatrice Ruth Smitjes, age 78, of Seaforth passed away on Tuesday, July 24, 2018. Born in Stratford, daughter of the late Robert Smitjes and the former Adeline Beltz. Loved mother of Cathy Anne MacDonald (Steve) and Darlene Romanik (Shawn). Dear sister of Dorothy Rumble (late Lawrence), Betty Pearson (late Arthur), Benjamin Smitjes (late Leda) and Ruby Robertson (late James). Very proud grandmother of Crystal Smitjes (Brandon), Amy Maddess. Her pride and joy were her twin great-grandsons Colt and Adam Smitjes. Also survived by her nieces, nephews and in-laws. Predeceased by her brothers Walter, George and Robert Smitjes. A celebration of Beatrice’s life will be held at later date and will be announced.
