Kalyani Gopal passed away peacefully on July 25th, 2018 at the age of 90 in Kelowna. She is survived by her 8 children: Ram Latchman Gopal, Arjun Gopal, Ram Chandar Gopal, Rukmani Reddy, Bikram Gopal, Sarojani Singh, Raghwa Gopal, and Premila Mudaliar, 20 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. Kalyani was born in the Fiji Islands and immigrated to Canada in 1979 with her 2 youngest children: Raghwa and Premila. Her passions included gardening and spending quality time with her family. She will always be remembered for her strength, tenacity, infectious laugh and deep affection for her family. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 28th at 10:00 am at Springfield Funeral Home, 2020 Springfield Road, Kelowna, BC.
