Obituary of David Dancey
Passed away on July 25, 2018 at this home in Grand Falls-Windsor, David Jody Dancey at the age of 50 years. Jody worked as a Thermal Insulator untill his illness when he returned home to be with his loving family. He enjoyed the outdoors, back yard fires, the freedom of the open road and the company of good friends. Jody lived his life to the fullest and always did everything with an open heart and a gracious smile.
He is predeceased by his father, David (Junior) Dancey. He leaves to mourn his loving and caring partner Shelley Pitcher; son, Jacob Dancey; daughter, Jenna Dancey; his mother, Mary Dancey; and sister, Jodina (Todd) Cook. Also left to mourn with fond and loving memories, Roy (Skipper) Oldford, Shaelynn, Ava, and Stephanie and a large circle of other relatives and friends.
Father Tom Duffenais will conduct the funeral service from the Cathedral of Immaculate Conception on Monday, July 30, 2018 at 2pm. Interment to follow at the Interfaith Cemetery on Union Street. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Hoskins Funeral Home in Grand Falls-Windsor. Urnbearer is Chris Sanger.
