Obituary of Dirk Wolfert
Wolfert, Dirk – Passed away peacefully to be with his Lord & Saviour at Niagara Hospice on Tuesday, July 24, 2018, with his loving family by his side. In his 83rd year, Dirk Wolfert, beloved husband of Corrie (nee denboer) for 55 years. Loving father of Derek and Delia (Vangameren) and Bill and Laura. Loving grandfather (Opa) of Brandon & Allison, Dirk, Jessica & Colin, Daniel, Billy & Hannah. Dirk’s passions were his friends, grandchildren, gardening and singing. Dirk was born in Hedel, the Netherlands in 1935, and immigrated to Canada in 1982.

Visitation will be held at the Vineland Chapel of Tallman Funeral Homes, 3277 King St., Vineland on Thursday, July 26 from 2-4p.m. and 6:30-8:30p.m. Private interment (burial) on Friday, July 27. Memorial service at the Vineland Free Reformed Church, 3685 King St. Vineland at 11:00a.m. on Friday, July 27. If desired, donations to hospiceniagara.ca.
