Russell James Rhuland

RHULAND, Russell James – 78 of Mahone Bay and formerly of Dartmouth, passed away Monday, July 23, 2018 in the South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater after a brief illness. Born in Mahone Bay he was a son of the late Albert and Gladys (Rhyno) Rhuland. Russell worked for over 25 years in the grocery and food sales industry. Russell is survived by daughter Jennifer (Steven) Calder, Dartmouth and son John (Kim) Rhuland, Dartmouth. Grandchildren Matthew, Stephanie, Nicole, Courtney, Lauren, Paige, Casey and Nathan; sister Elizabeth (Tom) Spinney, Wentzell Lake; two nephews Bruce Veinotte and Jeffrey Veinotte as well as a niece Mary (Jonathan) Crouse. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his step-mother the former Rowena Crossland, sister Olive Veinotte and his twin brother Ronald. By request, cremation has taken place. A family graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, July 27th in Park Cemetery, Mahone Bay with Rev. Barbara Minard officiating. Donations in memory may be made to the South Shore Regional Hospital Foundation, Bridgewater. Family flowers only please.
