Obituary for
Vasco Ciotti
It is with great sadness that the family announces his passing on July 18, 2018 at the Timmins and District Hospital at the age of 73. Dear husband of Christy; beloved father of Marisa Bedard (Brad); cherished grandfather of Hayden, Dexter and Addina. He also leaves behind his sister-in-law Veronica Ciotti, his two nephews Brock and Gianmarc Ciotti and his niece Teha Ciotti. Predeceased by his parents Gennaro and Adina Ciotti and by his brother Carmen Ciotti. Vasco was a proud Italian and a past president of the Porcupine Dante Club. He was a caring teacher throughout his career at T.H. & V.S. in science, special education and coaching football. He was also a former member of the Ski Patrol at the Kamiskotia Ski Hill. A special thank you to the staff of the Kidney Clinic at the Timmins and District Hospital for their care and compassion. Funeral service will be held on Monday, July 23, 2018 at 11 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church (Deacon Michel Neron officiating). Interment to follow at the Timmins Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday, July 22, 2018 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. at LESSARD-STEPHENS Funeral Home. Donations made to the Timmins and District Hospital Foundation Dialysis Unit would be greatly appreciated.
