Mervin Koversky 1933 – 2018 Mervin Koversky passed away peacefully on July 14, 2018 with his family by his side. Mervin was born on January 14, 1933 in Rackham, Manitoba. He was raised on a farm where he worked into his early adult years.
Mervin met and later married his wife, Shirley (Truax) from Deloraine, Manitoba on November 11, 1955, enjoying over 62 years together.
Mervin worked for Bird Construction then joined MTS where he worked just months short of forty years. His time with MTS lead across Manitoba working as a lineman, in construction, and finally a cable splicer.
He was a wonderful father and husband who really enjoyed talking and joking with people. Spending time with family was very important to him. He also enjoyed working around the house and garden, especially after retirement.
Mervin was predeceased by his father, Karol; and mother, Jessie; as well as five brothers and two sisters.
He leaves to mourn his wife, Shirley; sons, Wayne (Shirley), Darcy (Tonia) and Sheldon; along with three grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Mervin will be dearly missed by his family.
