Leon, Margaret
On July 15, 2018, Margaret Leon passed away peacefully in her 99th year with her family by her side.
Margaret lived comfortably most of her life in her home for over 65 years on the peaceful northern shores of Lake Erie. She is survived by her children John, Peter, LouAnn, Mark, Beth, their families, her sister Ruby, her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Lewie, her sisters Vada, Steve, Jenny and her brother George.
She will be fondly remembered for her kindness, hospitality and for always setting a place at the table for many friends and relatives.
Family and friends will be received at Pleasantview Funeral Home, 2000 Merrittville Hwy., Fonthill (corner of Hwy. 20, 905-892-1699) on Wednesday, July 18, 2018 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Therese of Lisieux Church, 379 Fares Street, Port Colborne (905-834-4645) on Thursday at 10:30 a.m.
