Gwendoline May Jones
It is with great sadness that the family of Gwen Jones announce her passing on Thursday, July 5th, 2018 in her 98th year. Gwen was born in Birmingham England on March 17th, 1921 and later immigrated to Canada in 1953. She had a long and happy life and made many friends along the way. Affectionately called “the queen” she will be remembered for her gracious ways and stylish attire. Mom was quick to laugh and always there with love and support for her family. Predeceased by her beloved husband, Fred (1996). She will be forever remembered and missed by daughters: Petula Jones (Rick), Suezanne Daniels and Marion Scott. She will also be remembered with much love by her grandchildren: Neil (Leigh), Kevin, Debbie and Paula; as well as great-grandchildren Chayse, Jaxson and Willow. A celebration of Gwen’s life will be held at the Fallis & Shields Funeral Home, 35 King St. W., Millbrook on Tuesday, July 17th, 2018 from 7 – 9 p.m. In lieu of flowers, a donation to a charity of your choice would be appreciated. www.fallis-shields.com
