Isabel Irma Sobey
1924-2018
Peacefully on June 30th, 2018, Isabel passed away at Riverview Health Centre at the age of 94.
Isabel joined Dick on their 67th wedding anniversary as she was predeceased by her beloved husband, in July of 2000.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her son Dick (Adele), daughter Eleanor (Keith), grandchildren Melissa (Scott), Amanda, Ashley (Ryan), Kyle (Ashley), great-grandchildren Bryden, Kane, sister-in-law Anne Bench and many nieces, nephews.
Isabel was the matriarch of her family, a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and a dear friend.
She loved bowling, family dinners, the lake and a good game of crib.
The family would like to thank the staff at Misercordia Health Centre for their wonderful care and to Riverview for their kindness and compassion.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of choice in Isabel’s name.
A celebration of Isabel’s life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 10th, 2018 at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave., Winnipeg, MB.
