Verna Mae Tench (nee Jeffrey)
May 4, 1919 – June 25, 2018
It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of our mother on June 25th, 2018 at Tuxedo Villa Care Home at the age of 99.
She has gone to meet the great love of her life, her husband of 72 years Murray, who predeceased her in 2012, as well as her son Keith.
She leaves behind to mourn her daughter Violet, her son John, numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews.
A special thank you to the staff at Tuxedo Villa Care Home for the loving care they provided for mom in her final years.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 5, 2018 at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave., Winnipeg, MB.
