Timothy Bernard Sullivan
September 11, 1923 – November 3, 2017
Tim passed away peacefully at home holding his wife’s hand and surrounded by
his loving family. Tim is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Cathie, his 8
children, Tim, Catherine, Mary(Danny), Susan(Roger), Trisha(Greg),
Mark(Shannon), Ann(Randy), Linda(Jarkko); 28 grandchildren and 28
great-grandchildren. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather,
great-grandfather and friend. He will be dearly missed by all.
Tim retired as a Captain of the Armed Forces after a full career. He
spent most of his postings in Eastern Canada but decided to move his family to
reside in Vancouver. After his first retirement, Tim landed his dream job
at Kodak Canada. He loved taking pictures!!!
Tim was well known for his quick wit, unique laugh and his constant smile. He
had many great stories to tell and he loved to talk about old movies! He loved
to dance and was a marvel at woodworking. He could build anything he set his
mind to.
Tim lived a big life. He gave of his time freely and loved spending time with
family and friends. Tim and Cathie enjoyed many years in Scouts Canada. Tim and
Cathie travelled the world and enjoyed retirement to the fullest!
Funeral services will be held on November 11th at 11 am at St. Matthew’s
Church, located at 16079 88th Ave. Surrey.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Matthew’s Parish.
